Official Ballot for the 6th Annual Oscar Guess Fest

(RULES REVISED ADDITIONALLY ON MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY, AT 08.27 HOURS, TO EXTEND THE ENTRY DEADLINE [RULE #4] TO 5 P.M. EST ON THE DAY OF THE OSCARS.)
1. Read all the grimble, then pick an Oscar winner in each of the 13 categories listed below. Fill in the Tie Breaker.
2. One entry per human.
3. Send your ballot to <50films@malouin.us> or hand a hard copy to our people.
4. All entires must be in our hands by 5 p.m. Sunday, the 24th of February (2008.)
5. “Best Picture” category is worth two points. Other 12 categories are worth one point each. If you want to, you may mark two picks in “Achievement in Directing.”
6. Winner receives a lovely trophy which is hers or his to keep until the next year’s winner takes over.
7. In addition, and for the first time ever, the winner will also receive a chocolate Edible Oscar, courtesy of Gayle’s Chocolates, in Royal Oak, Michigan. The Edible Oscar retails for US$60, is pure-chocolately 9.5 inches tall, and is composed of milk chocolate, white chocolate & semi-sweet chocolate.
(The trophy and the Edible Oscar will be in the winner’s hands no later than Wednesday evening, 5 March 2008.)
8. Outgoing winner will also be treated to a bottle of cheap (that is, California Korbel Extra Brut) champagne during the following season’s telecast. If our outgoing winner is not of a legal drinking age in the locale where the celebration takes place— or is not of a champagne personality— the champagne will be replaced by two cold six packs of Mountain Dew. Failing a desire for either of those refreshments, the outgoing winner may choose two tickets to a movie of his or her choice, total price not to exceed US$17.
9. Please remember that you can enter the 6th Annual Oscar Guess Fest without having seen all — or any — of the nominees in any or all of the categories. It’s a Oscar GUESS Fest, fer heaven’s sake, a name we did not chose lightly.
