Ryan Gosling first came to this writer’s attention in “Half Nelson.” In “Half Nelson” an inner-city junior high school teacher with a drug habit forms an unlikely friendship with one of his students after she discovers his secret.[1.]
Since “Half Nelson,” Gosling has gone through a remarkable period as an actor. This writer loved him again in the wonderful “Lars and the Real Girl.” Both these films should be in your Netflix Queue.
