There’s Still Plenty of Time…

…to see “The Complete Metropolis” this weekend *and* next on the wonderful new screen just unveiled at the Detroit Film Theatre in the Detroit Institute of Arts.

The new screen fills the room to an eye-popping extent that you are Never gonna find at Home…

…and “The Complete Metropolis” includes 25 additional minutes of original footage recently found in Argentina. The additional footage fleshes out the story of man vs. machine, and worker vs. fat-cat: it’s the incredible film Fritz Lang intended, before greedy exhibitors got hold of the thing.

Look for a review here by Friday afternoon (18 June) but don’t wait until then to see it. Get in your car NOW, drive to mid-town Detroit, have a crepe at “Good Girls Go To Paris” (15 E. Kirby, Suite 115, facing Woodward Avenue in the Park Shelton Building,) and then walk to the Detroit Film Theatre for a visual feasting on “The Complete Metropolis” on a great new screen. (You’ll thank me in the morning!)

Screening times are as follows:

Saturday, June 12th at 8pm
Sunday, June 13th at 2pm
Sunday, June 13th at 6pm

Friday, June 18th at 8pm
Saturday, June 19th at 8pm
Sunday, June 20th at 2pm
Sunday, June 20th at 6pm

See you in the movies!!!
