“A.J. Malouin’s 8th Annual Chocolate Oscar Guess Fest” was won by Steve, of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Steve scored 19 total points in the competition, out of a possible 25.
As this year’s winner, Steve collects both the rotating The Oscar Guess Fest Trophy — which is his to keep until next year — and a 9.5-inch Chocolate Oscar — which is his to keep until he and his friends decide to eat it.
Second Place went to Donna, of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Donna scored 18 total points.
Donna will be awarded a 9.5-inch Chocolate Oscar.
The Trophy and two Chocolate Oscars will be presented in a brief ceremony during the monthly gathering of The In-Bruges Film Club next week at Gayle’s Chocolates.
Steve picked the winner in 18 of 24 categories. Donna picked the winner in 17 categories.
Upwards of five dozen players entered this year’s competition. The farthest-away entry came from Houston, Texas. The average number of points earned by entrants was 10.29.
