We’re finally Home after allllll those After-Oscar Parties!
We’re looking to get a good night’s sleep while we await the offshore returns for “A.J. Malouin’s 8th Annual Chocolate Oscar Guess Fest.”
So far, Our People have tallied upwards of five dozen Ballots from all over the place, and we’re about ready to award The Trophy and the two 2010 Chocolate Oscars.
You’ll recall that Ballots for “A.J. Malouin’s 8th Annual Chocolate Oscar Guess Fest” had to be post-marked, at the latest by Saturday, March the 6th, in order to qualify for our contest.
We are therefore not announcing the winners of this year’s event until after the mail arrives on Wednesday afternoon, March the 10th. This gives last-minute entries snail-mailed from Hawaii or Japan ample time to get to My People and be tallied.
While the bulk of our entries have come from southeastern Michigan, we’ve also received Ballots from E. Lansing, Michigan, (Go State! Final Four!), Chicago, Illinois, and the area surrounding Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Our most-distant entry so far has come from Houston, Texas.
Look for the announcement of the winners of this year’s event on this blog early Thursday morning, March the 11th.
